INTERWOVEN

INTERWOVEN draws on the symbolic meaning of weaving—a practice historically associated with women in many cultures and deeply linked to sense-making, memory, and connection—and translates it into contemporary sound. Voice, violin, and electronics are treated as sonic threads that are continuously interlaced, stretched, and reconfigured.

Drawing on Romanian and Hungarian traditional sources alongside medieval sacred and troubadour repertoires, the program reflects on themes of love, longing, and transformation. Through the use of live electronics and spatial sound, the concert invites the audience into a shared field of attention, presence, and dwelling.

For this project I have composed the work WEAVING – Breathe, Weave, Threads). (link)
